Description: During the webinar, Dr. SilvieBovarnick, Research Fellow at theSafer Young Lives Research Centre (SYLRC) at the University of Bedfordshirein the UK and Mariana Meshi, Director at the NGO ‘Different and Equal’ in Albania will share emerging learning from a current exciting pilot study ‘Small Steps Can Make a Big Difference’. This is a participatory action research project gathering survivors-led evidence on victim’s experiences of seeking justice and support in relation to child trafficking and sexual violence in Albania. The project aims to make important contribution in generating evidence on young people’s experiences within the criminal justice system in the aftermath of trafficking and sexual violence, and in informing youth- and victim-centered practice development across law enforcements in Albania.
