Title of project: Provide economic reintegration programmes to women survivors of violence, including to women from vulnerable groups in targeted Municipalities in Albania.

Project Purpose: Strengthening the capacities of state and non-state institutions to establish long-term rehabilitation and reintegration services for survivors of of VAW.
The main activities of the project:
This project will provide economic reintegration programmes to women survivors of violence, including to women from vulnerable groups in municipalities of targeted districts (Tirana, Elbasan, Durrës, Fier and Vlora) through collaboration with local authorities, CRMs, Local Coordinators against Domestic Violence. Different & Equal (D&E) through the implementation of this project will provide reintegration assistance for survivors of GBV through a three phases approach and a better involvement of local authorities and service providers in assistance and reintegration to survivors of GBV; developing and implementation of socio-economic reintegration plans through training, mentoring and advocacy to make the Reintegration Model an integral part of the policy framework at the national level; awareness raising activities to promote opportunities.
The activities that will be organized during the implementation of the project include:
- Supporting municipalities to develop socio-economic reintegration plans for women victims of domestic violence and all other forms of violence.
- Providing individualized support and reintegration services to victims of GBV that are comprehensive, long-term based on their needs and in line with their reintegration plans
- Providing ongoing mentoring and training to local authorities and civil society organizations to pilot the implementation of socio-economic plans.
- Close monitoring of the implementation of plans (including the allocation of specific budgets). Roundtables with professionals will be organized for the implementation of socio-economic plans for survivors of the DHBGJ, as well as cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection to develop recommendations for the expansion and application of this initiative in other Municipalities of Albania.
- Organizing awareness activities with women and girls, especially survivors of violence from rural and remote areas, on information about these programs.
